Devon House, St Katherines Dock
Devon House is a prominent office block located immediately downstream of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge within the curtilage of St Katherines Dock which is now a popular business, housing and leisure complex.
The 1400m2 of mastic asphalt flat roof areas covering the building over 3 levels had completely failed. As part of the building’s refurbishment, the roof areas were overhauled utilising a modified rubber liquid applied, elastomeric, seamless, cold applied weatherproofing membrane. Over 1000m of composite decking was then installed over the insulated membrane to create a communal space for office staff to enjoy the iconic views over the Thames.
